From style to travel and beauty, this March will mark Margo & Me’s 4th Birthday! That’s 1,460 days of posts, thoughts, emotions, outfits, lipsticks…you get it. I’ve always been someone who works with intention; that way, my work will maintain its integrity. But I’m constantly challenging myself to think bigger and do bigger, and this year was a perfect example of how what you think into existence, speak into existence, and write into existence will manifest itself into existence.
A chic trench draped over our shoulders, an unperfect front tuck to a gorgeous blouse, mixing colors and textures for an unforgettable street style moment, a classic beret over “I just woke up like this” hair – all signs of the effortless ease factor, and tips I keep in mind when attaining this look. Essentially, when casual cool is elevated in a way that still represents effort into how you look and feel, it’s a combo that is fit to be mimicked.
Last-minute gift ideas can be a huge hit or miss and since we’d prefer to avoid the latter, there is just one gift to give that will have them swooning as if you put months into planning. Jewelry! From dainty necklaces to statement bracelets, jewelry is a sincere way to show the ones you love that you put thought into picking out a piece they will cherish for years to come.
You may have noticed on my Instagram Stories that we’ve headed to the East Coast for a little New York living, but before doing so, it was non-stop holiday parties in Los Angeles. And because I was doing my holiday outfit shopping with our future in colder climates on top of mind, jumpsuits of all kinds started flowing into my closet. Not only are they a bit more comfortable (wear and weather wise), but there’s something absolutely chic yet effortless about a jumpsuit, no? They’re the holiday dresses’ cool older sister, yet a statement of sorts at the same time.
Guilty as charged! My most recent splurge came while on a shopping trip to Nordstrom in search of a few goodies for my nieces. There’s a reason the shoe section is the first thing you see when walking in, so naturally, I took a leisurely stroll through. Like two tiny darts starring me in the eyes from across the room, these white Stuart Weitzman boots jumped out at me like they were made for me. In an attempt to maintain some self-control, I continued on my search for what it was I was there for, but if I love shoes so much, they will too….right?
There’s no denying it, the badass look is back and bigger than ever. Vinyl; it’s glossy, incredibly sleek and makes for a very dramatic yet elegant addition to your winter wardrobe if styled properly. The trick here is to pair it with contrasting fabrics, meaning anything soft for your off duty look. So I have just one question, are you ready to take on Vinyl?
