As you may have seen on my Instagram, last week was filled with beautiful beaches, yellow mustard seed flowers and epic cliffside photos. Being from The Golden State, it’s actually my third time taking the drive up the historic Highway 1 to San Francisco. The the ten hour road trip is well worth the ride because of the exquisite natural beauty that is hidden in the cliffs and beaches of California. Although ten hours might seem like a hefty commitment, there is so much to see along the way! Making a day of it gives you time to see elephant seal beach (one of Margo’s personal favorites), Hearst Castle, Big Sur and Caramel by The Sea – just a few spots along that way that I love to visit.
I’ve always found solace in the water, maybe it’s the Aquarian in me. Adventure beckons but I’m also perfectly content sitting in one place for hours, just observing. And while I love an opportunity to dress up, I’m a Cali girl at heart which means I could never abandon my beachy chic roots. There’s something so light and airy about coastal style that never tires.
I’m excited to be announcing that the next few months are going to be filled with lots of adventures like these!
